“We absolutely love this program and everything about it. Without this, Carter (3rd grade) probably wouldn’t have had any formal art classes this year. I love that the lessons are short because his attention span isn’t that long. I really like that the lessons are partly in the book and partly on the DVD because that just gives a little variety in the teaching approach.”
“... it (is) so much easier for a parent who is less “artistically inclined” to provide her children with proper homeschool art instruction. Yes, I am speaking here from experience! The video lessons made a HUGE difference for us this time around... The curriculum itself is wonderful, educationally valuable, fun, and easy to use. I highly recommend K-3rd Grade Level, Volumes 1-8 curriculum from ARTistic Pursuits Inc.!”
“He had so much fun doing it he actually begged to do more that day! He was excited to learn about art and history rolled into one!...There are many other great projects to do throughout this book and the history lesson provided for each only adds to enrich what the children are learning. My son has only ever worked with pastels once before this and chooses to usually draw with a pencil, he has gotten pretty good too! However, this book, the DVD and stories have caused him to expand his knowledge of different art media and we have ordered more supplies! We are working in pastels, clay, and watercolors now!”
“We liked that this curriculum didn’t expect a lot from this age group – instead, it allowed the kids to learn one technique or explore one idea and then take a lot of time with their creativity. It was a relaxing art curriculum to use – easy on mom, and enjoyed by kids of many ages.”

“If you haven’t been using an art curriculum but are feeling like you don’t want to be overwhelmed by all the information, I really believe this one is the easiest and well rounded art program for younger students.”

“Once again I have enjoyed using another volume in this series. I think it is so important for children to get creative, especially kids with special needs like Kaden. He complains and criticizes every project in the beginning because that's just what he does. But, once he gets started the self confidence grows and you can tell he feels proud of what he made. No matter if you homeschool or not, I think any household could benefit from a set of these books. The lessons are short and easy to complete. The supplies are simple and not hard to find and the quality of the projects will be treasured for years to come. ”

“I love that this volume (vol. 8) doesn’t require a ton of supplies. I’ll admit that is what drew me to it, because I didn’t want to invest in a lot of supplies, only to find that my boys didn’t want to participate. I should have known better, because getting them to participate wasn’t a problem at all! They happily come to the kitchen table or living room around the TV for lessons each week with no problem.”

“One of the reasons we love this program so much is that it doesn’t just give you instructions in a book. The videos are key. That’s how my children are learning. They are watching and then doing. It appeals to their learning senses. It’s not boring or too “grown up”. But rather they’re engaging and short videos and appeal to kids to want to emulate them.”
